Be a Nutmeg Reader at the Canton Public Library!

Sign up HERE to earn collectible book badges as rewards for reading the 2024 Nutmegs.

Once you have signed up take the question for any book you have read on the Elementary, Intermediate or Middle School Nutmeg lists for 2024. Then come to the library to pick up your collectible book badge!

What are the Nutmegs?

They are the nominees for the Connecticut State Youth Book Awards, where the final winners are chosen by Connecticut kids each year.   Find out more about this year’s nominees on the Nutmeg Book Award Website.  There are printable lists of the books with short descriptions and cover photos.

Every book on all four lists is available from the Canton Public Library, and you can even place holds from home. If there are audio or ebook options available, we do our best to have them available to borrow.
