This summer, help us create an installation inspired by a similar project from the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art.
Just like illustrators who are influenced by the images around them, we get inspired by the art that children add to the walls of our library. This summer, help us create an installation inspired by a similar project from the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art. We’ve chosen paper in a hexagon shape because hexagons will create an interesting pattern when placed together in a group. Stop by our “Art in the Afternoon” workshops on Tuesdays to make your hexagon here, or you can choose to take home a kit to make it on your own starting July 11.
Together we’ll create a mural celebrating all of our artistic voices.
Inclement weather policy: If Canton schools or afterschool activities are cancelled for weather-related reasons, so too are events for teens and children at the Canton Public Library. The library is often still open, please contact us with questions or concerns at 860.693.5800.
