Program Buddies

Join one or all of our Program Buddies volunteer opportunities for teens ages 13 and up or entering grade 8. 

Book Buddies – Book Buddies pairs teen volunteers (ages 13+) with children 4-7 years old to share a love of reading while supporting early literacy skills. Come read, sing camp songs, and do an activity with the children. Book Buddies will meet once a week on Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 – 3:30 and/or Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 during the summer (June 25 – July 30).
Interested individuals are required to complete the application form listed below. Candidates will be contacted for interviews on a rolling basis.
Orientation will be held on Tuesday, June 18.

 Art Buddies – Teen volunteers (ages 13+) work with children on simple, but awesome projects to improve skills and creative habits. Art buddies meet each Wednesday from 1:00 – 4:00 during the summer (June 26 – August 7). This year we will be accepting 6 Art Buddies.
Interested individuals are required to complete the application form listed below. Candidates will be contacted for interviews on a rolling basis.
Orientation will be held on Wednesday, June 19 from 1:00 – 4:00.

 Science Buddies – Teen volunteers (ages 13+) work with children on simple, but awesome projects that explore science, engineering, and math. Science Buddies meet each Friday from 1:00 – 4:00 during the summer (June 28 – August 9).
Interested individuals are required to complete the application form listed below. Candidates will be contacted for interviews on a rolling basis.
Orientation will be held on Friday, June 21 from 1:00 – 4:00.
