Join us as beginner artists are given the opportunity to learn more about formal art critique. In this interactive session, participants will learn the art of providing constructive feedback in a mindful and compassionate manner in order to improve their own and others’ works. Participants will learn about different aspects of design and composition, and how to use those elements in critiquing your own and others’ pieces. Participants will have the opportunity to practice critiquing others’ works and analyzing what elements of the piece do and do not work. All supplies are provided but participants are encouraged to bring in their own works for critique. For people in grades 9 and up. Registration required.
