On Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 6:30 p.m., join Gerri Griswold for an in-person travel program, “Iceland through My Heart.” “Fifty-two trips to our beloved neighbor up north and each one feels like the first!” It’s evident that Gerri Griswold is head-over-heels in love with Iceland. Spend quality time with her as she takes you on a journey through this spectacular island nation. Meet the people, places, and things that define our closest European neighbor. The images are stunningly beautiful!
Extremely knowledgeable and keen on her subject, Gerri has been described by her fellow tour travelers as warm, enthusiastic and funny. Well known for her now occasional traffic reporting on WTIC-AM, Gerri is director of Administration and Development at the White Memorial Conservation Center in Litchfield.
Registration is required for this free program and seating is limited. We will provide as safe a seating arrangement as we are able, and require all attendees to wear masks. The program is intended to be an in-person talk, although we reserve the right to switch to Zoom depending on new challenges caused by COVID. Canton Public Library is located at 40 Dyer Avenue in Canton.
Please call the library at 860-693-5800 or email email@example.com to register.
