Art by Kate McAllister on Display at Canton Public Library Through January 30
January 7, 2021 @ 10:00 am - January 30, 2021 @ 1:00 pm
With over 30 years of creative study and practice, Kate McAllister continues to blend multiple styles, mediums and techniques to create an individualistic body of work with no predetermined plan. From intricate pen drawings and tiny paper cuttings, large scale landscapes, murals and wood work, each piece tells a story through color, direction and balance. Her extensive portfolio is added to almost daily and Kate is always seeking the next inspiring challenge. Teaching had also helped create a renewed perspective, by integrating after school art classes into time in the studio, it inspired a constantly evolving style. Being reminded daily the significance of the values and skills it takes to create a single piece of fine art.
Her art is and has been used by
•Bromley Mountain in Peru, Vt for their 2017/18 Season passes, lift tickets and promotional materials
•Hot Pineapple Productions in Boston, for promotional materials & holiday cards
