This year our seed library is self-serve. The seeds are housed in the cabinet with the sign under the blue counter in the adult area of the library. Come fill out a check-out form and “borrow” seed for your garden this year. You may borrow 5 packs in total of flower, vegetable and herb seeds. Return your form to the bin on the Information Desk to help us keep inventory. 
Our policies may change due to availability of seed. This year’s seed has been donated by High Mowing Seeds, Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, Hudson Valley Seed, Connecticut Master Gardeners/UConn/Burpee Seeds, Larsen Ace Hardware and individuals like you.
Inclement weather policy: If Canton schools or afterschool activities are cancelled for weather-related reasons, so too are events for teens and children at the Canton Public Library. The library is often still open, please contact us with questions or concerns at 860.693.5800.
