Romance Novel Reading: A Tribute and Discussion, Presented on Zoom by Canton Library

March 1, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

What the world needs now is certainly more love, and perhaps a bit of dreamy imagination. Fans of romance novels may be on to something to improve well-being, and Canton Library’s March 1st Zoom presentation, Romance Novel Reading, by presenters Caitlin Augusta and Helen Bender, will discuss the best in the genre. They will also compare notes with us on talented authors, great series, the genre’s history, and more. Participants are encouraged to share their favorites, too.

Caitlin Augusta is a librarian at the Stratford, CT Library. She writes the Tease Romance column and blog for AudioFile Magazine and served for several years as the Romantic Times Bookseller and Librarian track co-coordinator. Helen Bender is the West End Branch Librarian for the Boston Public Library and purchases romance in print and electronic formats for her many patrons. She posts and speaks about book recommendations and romance titles.

We invite you to participate in this talk with Caitlin and Helen for Canton Public Library on Monday, March 1, at 7 pm on Zoom, through a link we email to you. The program is free. To join us, please email kbunn@townofcantonct.org to obtain login information. For other questions please call/email Katie Bunn at the library, (860) 693-5800.
