Thursday, 9/22/21 – the weather is looking quite uncertain, and we are online on Zoom and Facebook live. (Rain forecast during storytime.)
Let us help grow your reader. We’ll be introducing preschoolers + toddlers and their loved ones to language, literature, and the library through songs, rhymes, stories, and games. Parents and caregivers are heartily encouraged to play and sing along!
Free; no registration required.
Please call the library at 860-693-5800 or email hbaker@townofcantonct.org if you have questions about the program.
For kids aged 0-5 with a parent/caregiver, older children have fun too. We recommend that you bring a blanket suitable for the outdoors, lawn chairs optional.
**Note** If weather conditions do not permit outdoor programming, the library will post a “change of plans” on the library website and on our Facebook page by 8 a.m. Rhythm and Rhyme will move onto Zoom and Facebook Live if conditions aren’t good. Poor weather during summer months would include: temperatures in excess of 85°F during the story time, rain, high winds, power outages, or high thunderstorm probability.
Inclement weather policy: If Canton schools or afterschool activities are cancelled for weather-related reasons, so too are events for teens and children at the Canton Public Library. The library is often still open, please contact us with questions or concerns at 860.693.5800.
