Introduction to Clay

July 6, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us as local potter, Laura Lynda of Stoneware Alchemy, teaches the basics of working with clay, one of the oldest forms of decorative and functional art. We will discuss how to make beautiful coiled pots, and participants will have up to two hours to explore their imaginations and express their creativity using various techniques and tools. Your creations will be fired, glazed by Laura in a color of your choice, and fired again. You will receive your finished pottery in approximately 5-6 weeks.

For teens and tweens entering grades 5 and up.  Registration is required. Space is limited. All supplies provided.
