We all need a little Hygge in our lives, especially in Winter. What is Hygge?
Hygge is everything cozy, simple and familiar with close friends and family. We have a new take-home kit to help you have a cozy winter. You can request one by calling the library at 860-693-5800 and pick one up during our open hours or request curbside service. Our kits contain a tissue paper candle lantern to make, a paper star kit, colored pencils and bookmarks to color, some suggestions for Hygge activities and a few packets of cocoa and tea. One per household, please.

Inclement weather policy: If Canton schools or afterschool activities are cancelled for weather-related reasons, so too are events for teens and children at the Canton Public Library. The library is often still open, please contact us with questions or concerns at 860.693.5800.
