It’s spring cleaning time, and by popular demand, we are bringing back our Craft Supply Swap! Our last one was scheduled for March 2020 and, well, we all know how that went.
Do you have a closet full of craft materials that you’re never going to use? Or do you want to try something new but don’t want to invest a lot in new supplies? Join in our Craft Swap! Drop off items you’d like to donate to the swap on Thursday, Mar. 23, from 5-8pm or on Friday, Mar. 24, from 1-4pm. If you bring in one or more items to donate, you will get an early-bird ticket. The swap itself will be on Saturday, March 25, with “early bird” access from 10-11am and general access from 11-1pm (or until all items are claimed). We welcome crafting materials of all sorts — yarn, fabric, tools, paper-crafting goods, stickers, ribbon, beads, books and magazines, etc. All donated items must be in good, usable condition — nothing damaged or otherwise unusable. No open containers of paint, glue, or similar items. Any items left at the end of the sale will be used by the library, donated, or discarded.
This event is totally FREE. For questions or more information, call the library at 860-693-5800 or email smccusker@townofcantonct.org.
Inclement weather policy: If Canton schools or afterschool activities are cancelled for weather-related reasons, so too are events for teens and children at the Canton Public Library. The library is often still open, please contact us with questions or concerns at 860.693.5800.
