Once you have signed up, you will be able to request a book quiz for any book you have read on the Elementary, Intermediate or Middle School Nutmeg lists for 2023.
Complete the quiz and you will earn a collectible book badge for each title you have read.
You can read and collect them all year, through the end of April 2023.

There are printable lists of the books with short descriptions and cover photos. Every book is available through the library, you can even place holds from home.

Our 2023 NUTMEG LOCK IN happened on Friday, April 14th .
Kids can still earn a “Party in a Box” if they read and report in on 10 Nutmegs before Sunday, April 30.
Also on the Nutmeg Book horizon is the big reveal of the 2024 Nutmegs, which happens here on Saturday, April 29 at our Nutmeg Release Party Breakfast. All registered Nutmeg Readers will get an invite!
Inclement weather policy: If Canton schools or afterschool activities are cancelled for weather-related reasons, so too are events for teens and children at the Canton Public Library. The library is often still open, please contact us with questions or concerns at 860.693.5800.
