Public Relations Policy

It is the policy of the Canton Public Library to establish and maintain open, two-way communication between the library and the public it serves.

The library will therefore:

  1. Inform the public of the library’s programs and services.
  2. Promote the use of the library by the public.
  3. Establish the library as a nonpartisan, nonsectarian meeting ground of all ideas.

All releases, promotions, campaigns, displays and exhibits for library services must be approved by the Director.
