Come to a free, in-person program at Canton Public Library all about white-tailed deer and how to co-exist with them, given by Paul Colburn, Master Wildlife Conservationist. The “White-Tailed Deer in Connecticut” presentation focuses on the history of this common animal and an overview of its habitat, diet, behavior, and reproduction. Attendees will also hear practical recommendations for optimum coexistence with our deer population. White-tailed deer artifacts are shared with the audience.
