Join one or all of our Program Buddies volunteer opportunities for Teens ages 13 and up or entering grade 8.
Book Buddies
Book Buddies pairs teen volunteers (ages 13+) with children 4-7 years old to share a love of reading will supporting early literacy skills. Come read, sing camp songs, and do an activity with the children. Book Buddies will meet once a week on Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 – 3:30 and/or Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 in the summer from (June 28 August 2). Orientation will be held on Wednesday, June 21.
Art Buddies
Art Buddies pairs teen volunteers (ages 13+) with children to work on simple, but awesome projects to improve skills and creative habits. Art buddies meet each Tuesday from 1:30 – 4:00 during the summer (July 11 – August 8). Orientation will be held on Tuesday, June 20 from 1:30 – 4:00.
Science Buddies
Science Buddies pairs teen volunteers (ages 13+) with children to work on simple, but awesome projects that explore science, engineering, and math. Science Buddies meet each Friday in the summer from 1:30 – 4:30 (June 30 – August 4) Orientation will be held on Friday, June 23 from 1:30 – 4:30.
