The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek with Monday Evening Book Group

June 8 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek

Our Monday Book Discussion has moved to Zoom!  Borrow this book from the Library Hoopla subscription if you have not yet discovered this uplifting novel of the Kentucky Packhorse Librarians.  The book is available as an ebook or audiobook and makes a great weekend read.
All our adult book groups are open to the public.  Our Zoom invitation will be emailed on the day of the discussion.  Please register by emailing Beth Van Ness at bvanness@libraryconnection.info.  You can also email if you have questions about this book group, Zoom, or our book selection.

“…a hauntingly atmospheric love letter to the first mobile library in Kentucky and the fierce, brave packhorse librarians who wove their way from shack to shack dispensing literacy, hope, and ― just as importantly ― a compassionate human connection.”―Sara Gruen, author of Water for Elephants
