Well, we WANT to be live and in person outside on the back lawn of the library Tuesdays & Thursdays. This week, the weather is NOT cooperating! It will be too hot this Thursday for an outdoor session. We’ll be on Zoom and Facebook Live at 10 a.m., hopefully for this week only.
Let us help grow your reader. We’ll be introducing preschoolers + toddlers and their loved ones to language, literature, and the library through songs, rhymes, stories, and games. Parents and caregivers are heartily encouraged to play and sing along!
Free; no registration required.
Please call the library at 860-693-5800 or email hbaker@townofcantonct.org if you have questions about the program.
For kids aged 0-5 with a parent/caregiver, older children have fun too.
Heather Baker is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting: Topic: Canton Public Library Rhythm & Rhyme Story Time

**Note** If weather conditions do not permit outdoor programming, the library will post a “change of plans” on the library website and on our Facebook page by 8 a.m. Rhythm and Rhyme will move onto Zoom and Facebook Live if conditions aren’t good. Poor weather during summer months would include: temperatures in excess of 85°F during the storytime, rain, high winds, power outages, or high thunderstorm probability.
Inclement weather policy: If Canton schools or afterschool activities are cancelled for weather-related reasons, so too are events for teens and children at the Canton Public Library. The library is often still open, please contact us with questions or concerns at 860.693.5800.
