Book clubs are a great way to be with people and share your love of books. Canton Library is lucky to have book clubs for both adults and kids.
Canton Public Library Adult Book Clubs
All adults are welcome to join our book discussions for just one meeting or as a member of the group. We will be meeting on Zoom until we can meet safely in person once again. The group selections are available by request from the library.
Our groups meet every month except for July, August and December. Meeting dates and book selections are available about one month before the meeting. Ask to join our email list to receive updates. Contact Beth Van Ness at 860-693-5800 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com with any questions or comments.
Monday Evening Book Group meets on the second or third Monday of the month at 7 pm on Zoom. This group reads both fiction and nonfiction.
March 15th The Splendid and the Vile by Erik Larson
April 12th The Book of Lost Friends by Lisa Wingate
Mystery Book Group meets on the last Thursday of the month at 7 pm on Zoom.

On March 17th we are reading Roscoe Riley Rules by Katherine Applegate. Copies are available at the library as well as on Hoopla as both an e-Book and a downloadable audiobook. We are currently meeting on Zoom. Sign up and get your Zoom invitation at this link https://forms.gle/enC1CdSeQwJa7Z6B9
We’ll meet online for 1/2 hour , after reading this month’s selection. The group then gets to help choose next month’s books, and can sign up to read the sequels to this month’s choice.
