Canton Library's Response to COVID-19

All due dates have been extended until 4/6/2020.

No late fines will be assessed on any items.

The bookdrop remains open at this time but we are asking patrons to please keep library materials at home until we reopen.

Any cards that have expired between 7/1/2019 and 6/29/2020 have had their expiration dates automatically extended through 6/30/2020.

We have raised the "blocked" threshold on cards from $10 to $100 to expand patron ability to access digital materials even if there are fines or fees on the card.

The library catalog is still available for browsing and placing holds; however, we have temporarily disabled the ability to request items from other libraries to be delivered to Canton.

Statewide interlibrary loan and delivery service between libraries is suspended until further notice. Most libraries across the state are closed.

We are not accepting any donations at this time.

If you need assistance, email Ask the Librarian or call 860-693-5800 and leave a voicemail. We are checking emails and voicemails daily Monday-Friday and will get back you as soon as we can.
